+Now well into his third decade in the European polymer industry, Louis started out with an Honours Degree in Engineering from UCG and says “This is where I love being and I relish the partnerships that we have established and now nurture. The future is bright in our industry and we want to be with you on your journey”. His experience has brought a new dynamic to the business.
Paul Bryan
Director
+Paul brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from over 30 years in the plastics industry. He has been involved in a wide variety of industry sectors, including Medical, Packaging and Automotive, Consumer Electronics and Sanitation. He has worked as a consultant for a number of years covering product & process development and project management. From concept to factory installation and sign-off Paul has it covered.
Phil Watters
Managing Director
+Phil has many years experience within the plastics industry across the globe and returned home to Ireland to join our team as General Manager, responsible for Service & Projects. Since then he has overseen significant change within the business and was appointed as Managing Director in January 2023.
Michael Reynolds
Sales Manager
+Michael joins the sales team as Sales Manager for the North. Michael completed a GPRI through Athlone IT and most recently worked for HP in supply chain management where he was responsible for polymers & moulded components.
Donal Hayes
Sales Manager
+Worked for 20 years in technical sales in the refrigeration and temperature control industry, looking after sales of equipment and maintenance contracts within the food, dairy and micro-brewery industries throughout Ireland.
Niall Gavin
Technical Project Manager
+Niall Gavin joined our team as Sales Engineer before being promoted to Technical Project Manager. A graduate from AIT (now TUS) in Mechanical & Polymer Engineering, he has worked in the medical device, food and automotive industries and was also one of the first JLGoor Scholarship recipients at AIT.

Carol Frey
Parts & Consumables Sales
+Carol will almost certainly be your first phone point of contact in JLGoor. She has been with JLGoor for more than 25 years. Today she not only manages all of the parts and consumables sales but also can firmly be considered the ‘conscience’ of JLGoor Machinery. Her personal connection with many of our clients, their companies and their companies needs offers our clients another contact where they know their product requirements are understood and can be catered to.
Lena Deynega
Financial Accountant - MIATI
+A qualified Accounting Technician, Lena looks after to perfection all of the accounting side of JL Goor. She has been with JL Goor for over 10 years and has a firm understanding of the polymer industry and our clients.
Maureen Kelly
Project Co-ordination
+Maureen joined us in February 2017 and is based in the office in Enniskerry, handling project co-ordination and ensuring that all the equipment is in the right place at the right time.

+Kathleen joined the team in January 2020 and is based in our Enniskerry office covering many of the day-to-day administrative activities.
Gearoid Clarke

+Gearoid a graduate of Athlone IT, where he gained his Master in Polymer Science. He joined JLGoor in 1994 to start the sales of Polymer materials for the business. He has been strongly involved in the evolution of the business and has fulfilled a variety of roles culminating in his current position. “ I really enjoy working with our strong and experienced team in an industry as interesting and challenging as the Polymer Industry.”
Martin Brickland
Sales Director
+Martin is a graduate of Athlone IT where he gained a Degree in Polymer Science . After leaving college he spent five years in key production roles both within Extrusion and Rotational moulding. Martin then moved into the Thermoset Polymers sector where grew and Managed a substantial business for a period of 20 years before joining the team at JL Goor in 2017. Martin has a keen interest in the distribution business of Polymers and really enjoys the technical challenges the Industry continually faces.
Debbie Keating
Financial Controller – MIATI, ACCA
+Debbie is our Financial Controller and Office Manager. She is a fully qualified accountant, who is responsible for a wide variety of financial and strategic planning elements of our business. The co-ordination of the office activities is a key part of the job and one that ensures that all parts of the business are running together smoothly.
Noel Daly
Sales Manager Engineering Polymers – BSc., Grad Dip Environmental Engineering
+Noel brings a huge wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as Engineering Polymers Sales Manager. He has a degree in Polymer Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in construction. His detailed understanding of polymers and their capabilities, allied to a real depth of knowledge in polymer processing enables him to be a real contributor to customer projects.
Vincent Keogh
Polymer Sales Engineer – PRI Grad.
+Vincent brings a great deal of experience to his role of Polymer Sales Engineer. He has worked for a Polymer Producer, as well as in Polymer Distribution in the past. He has a degree in Polymer Science which will allow him to offer valuable help to customers. In more recent years he has been out of the Polymer industry, but has now returned and will bring a broad business accumen to helping customers.
Rita Murphy
Accounting Co-Ordinator, MIATI
+Rita has a wealth of experience and is invaluable to our office team, having 37 years’ experience in the Industry. Rita started in customer service in GB Miller & Sons and finished as Office Manager. She is a qualified Accounting Technician and deals with all of our invoicing and payables on a day to day basis. She can and does turn her hand to whatever needs to be done.
Aisling Hanratty
Customer Service
+Aisling has joined us with a background from various industries, most recently as a Team Leader in a Customer Service Centre and is most likely the first person you will speak to if you phone the office. She manages a lot of our Customer Service and is often on the front line dealing with deliveries and stock control for many of our customers. She will also chase overdue accounts – though as you would expect, there are not many!
Brendan Sheehan
Logistics Manager - Dip. L&SCM
+Brendan is our Logistics Manager and has a Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. He also has an unrivalled knowledge of how to move polymers efficiently from all over the world to our customers. He is unflappable – just what you need when under pressure to meet delivery deadlines.
